The Import/Export Screen (Figure 5.9) allows you to access various useful functions for importing and exporting important files to and from floppy diskette. You can also format 1.44Mb floppy diskettes from this screen. The available functions are:

Export the firewall configuration files to diskette

Export public VPN key of this firewall to diskette

Import public VPN key of some other firewall from diskette

Import a user's public key from diskette

Cancel and return to the Miscellaneous Screen

If you attempt to export a VPN key and it does not yet exist, you will be prompted to select a key size for virtual private networking. You can choose one of 1024, 2048 or 4096 bits. Longer keys offer greater security but at the expense of speed.
