This manual describes how to set up and manage your CEQURUX Firewall. It is assumed that you have some familiarity with UNIX, the TCP/IP protocol suite, client-server architectures, configuring routers, and so on. If not, we suggest that you contact your vendor for assistance in configuring the firewall. Section 1.2 gives a brief overview of the most important background material needed to understand this manual.
The CEQURUX Firewall offers a highly secure means of connecting to the Internet. It is possible, however, to completely compromise the security of a firewall by configuring it incorrectly. As a result, you are strongly advised to read this manual before using your firewall.
