The welcome and denial messages used for telnet and FTP can also be customised (Table 7.5). These message files normally reside in the directory /usr/local/etc. If fwadmin finds a file of the same name in /usr/local/custom, it will copy this file to /usr/local/etc, otherwise it will generate a default file.
