Once the system has started up, system log messages will be displayed on the screen. At this point, you can log on. You first need to switch to a different virtual terminal , as the default virtual terminal is used for echoing the system log. To change virtual terminals, hold down the Alt key and press one of F1, F2, F3 or F4. The virtual terminals accessible with Alt-F2, Alt-F3 and Alt-F4 all have login processes running, while Alt-F1 takes you back to the system log screen.
When you are done you can log out by typing `exit'. From this point on you should usually log on as admin rather than root. After installation, the password for admin should be the same as for root, but it can be changed if desired.
