Once you have installed your CEQURUX Firewall, you need to configure it for your site. In this part of the manual, we describe how to configure your firewall for different needs.
Before you configure your firewall, you should determine what your security policy is. This includes questions such as who should be allowed access to what services, and when. It is beyond the scope of this manual to describe the formulation of network security policies; RFC 2196, the Site Security Handbook , provides a set of guidelines to use in setting up such a security policy. This RFC is included on your firewall CD-ROM in the `docs' directory.
