Configuring Public Services

The public services are enabled or disabled from the Public Service Setup Screen (Figure 4.52).

The services are:

It is beyond the scope of this manual to describe how to prepare data for WWW, gopher or WAIS servers. If you wish to provide these services but don't know how to prepare the data, we recommend the book `Managing Internet Information Services' by Liu et al. (O'Reilly and Associates 1994).

We describe the fields relating to each separate service in turn.
