Similar to the public web service, you can provide gopher databases which
are accessible to any internal or external host. The data to be served
should be kept in the /usr/local/gopher-data directory.
- Run Public Gopher Server
- If set to YES, then a publicly accessible
gopher service will be run on the firewall on port 70.
This can be simply a relay to some other host on
the internal network or in the DMZ, or it can be
be a gopher server on the firewall itself (in which
case the server will run chrooted to the /usr/local
directory).
- Host
- If the public gopher service is simply a relay,
then the IP address of the real server should be
entered here. If a gopher server is to be run on
the firewall itself then this field should be
left blank.
- Street Address
- The street address that the gopher server should
report for your site, if any.
- Geographical Location
- The geographical location (longitude and
latitude) of your site (for example,
27 30 00 E 30 15 00 S).
